Her får du vite hva eSIM er og hvordan du kommer i gang
Hva er eSIM?
Et vanlig SIM-kort er et fysisk kort du setter i mobilen for å ringe, sende SMS og bruke mobildata. Et eSIM gjør akkurat det samme, men er digitalt og installeres direkte på mobilen – helt uten fysisk kort.
Hvorfor bør jeg bruke eSIM?

Enkelte mobiler, klokker og andre dingser har ikke lenger fysisk SIM-kort, og må derfor bruke eSIM.

eSIM får du med en eneste gang, du trenger ikke vente på postbudet for å levere ditt nye SIM-kort.

På sikt tror vi at de aller fleste mobiler og tekniske dingser kun vil støtte eSIM.
Kan jeg bruke Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch eller Google Pixel med OneCall?
Selvfølgelig kan du det! Har du en klokke som støtter eSIM, kan du sette opp et ekstra eSIM på klokken sånn at den alltid er koblet til Internett, selv om du har mobilen et annet sted. Oppsettet gjør du på telefonen din. Det kan være at du må logge inn på onecall.no under denne prosessen. Se pris for tjenesten Ekstra-SIM her.

Jeg er OneCall-kunde og vil bytte til eSIM på min mobil
- Vi anbefaler deg å bruke OneCall-appen for å installere eSIMet ditt. I appen kan vi fortelle deg om telefonen din støtter eSIM.
- Ved installering via appen logger du inn med mobilen som skal ha eSIM
- Ved installering via Mine Sider logger du inn med annen enhet da du må ta bilde av QR-koden med mobilen som skal ha eSIM - Du må være koblet til WiFi for å kunne installere eSIMet.
- For at vi skal vite hvem du er, må du verifisere deg med BankID.
- Vær oppmerksom på at det kan ta opptil 10 minutter før ditt nye eSIM er aktivt. Etter dette, må du i noen tilfeller skru av og på flymodus for å få dekning.
- Når eSIMet er oppe og går, kan du ta ut ditt gamle fysiske SIM-kort og kaste det.
Greit å vite
- PIN-kode er slått av som standard, men du kan sette den på manuelt inne på innstillinger på mobilen din om du ønsker det.
- Dersom du skal aktivere eSIM på mobilen til et barn og har Foreldrekontrollen på, så bør den skrus av midlertidig da den kan blokkere for aktiveringen.
Jeg vil bli OneCall kunde og vil bruke eSIM
- Sjekk om mobilen din støtter eSIM. Slik gjør du det: Tast inn*#06# (som om du skulle ringt til den koden). Får du en linje som heter eID, betyr det at mobilen støtter eSIM.
- Finn det mobilabonnement som passer deg best
- I bestillingsløpet får du valget om du ønsker fysisk SIM-kort eller eSIM. Velg eSIM og gå videre.
- Når bestillingen din er gjennomført, får du en epost med videre informasjon, og en link for verifisering med BankID.
Det tar ca. 10-15 minutter.
Vanlige spørsmål om eSIM
De fleste mobiltelefoner etter 2018 støtter eSIM, i tillegg til mange nettbrett og smartklokker. Dette gjelder blant annet iPhone 11 og nyere, og Samsung Galaxy S20 og nyere. Du kan selv sjekke om mobilen din støtter eSIM ved å taste inn*#06# og trykk på ringe-knappen. Hvis den gjør det, vil du se en linje som heter eID på mobilskjermen. Du kan også se om telefonen din er i listen under.
Alle OneCall-kunder med mobiltelefoner som støtter eSIM, kan bytte sitt hoved SIM-kort fra et fysisk SIM-kort til et eSIM. Det kan du gjøre i OneCall-appen.
Hvis du ønsker eSIM, men ikke er OneCall-kunde enda, kan du velge eSIM som alternativ når du bestiller abonnement hos oss.
